I always use regular, dry noodles, and just make sure I've included enough sauce to boil the noodles as the lasagna cooks. Very easy to make -- just keep all the ends of veggies that you have in a bag in the freezer (carrot ends, broccoli stalks, onion bits, etc).

There was chopping, browning, and simmering to be done before you even got to the assembling step, and I always found myself too weary to go to all that trouble.
