The Diocese of Bethlehem’s annual Clergy Conference will be held from October 28-30 at the St. Francis Retreat House in Easton. Clergy are to arrive in time for the Welcome Reception at 5pm on Monday the 28th, with an expected departure time of noon on Wednesday the 30th.

This year’s programming will be led by the Rev. Dr. Tricia Lyons. Lyons is currently serving as Senior Advisor to the Dean on Evangelism Initiatives and Director of Evangelism Formation at the Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, VA. Prior to her current teaching at VTS, Tricia served in the Episcopal Diocese of Washington as Canon for Evangelism. Dr. Lyons is one of the most sought-after teachers, speakers and preachers across many mainline denominations. Dr. Lyons’ unique mix of Ivy League academic training in theology with genuine humor and a contagious love of Jesus Christ has made her a national leader among the next generation of professors and preachers in American Christianity.

The Clergy Conference serves as a time for renewal, reflection, and relationship building as we equip ourselves for the vital mission before us. The annual clergy conference is an important gathering for all active diocesan clergy. Retired clergy are always welcome. If you have not yet registered, please contact Paula as soon as possible.
